Spice Up Your Chicken and Veggies with These Marinades
Chicken and veggies is a classic go-to healthy lunch or dinner, however it can become boring pretty quick! Try one of our delicious marinade recipes to spice up your dinners with a different flavour each night! Each marinade makes enough for one chicken breast, so increase your quantities as needed. Marinate for at least 30 minutes before cooking for the best flavour.
Italian Herbs:
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ Tsp pepper
¼ Tsp salt
½ Tbsp chopped basil
½ Tbsp chopped parsley
¼ Tsp garlic powder
Lemon Garlic:
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ Tsp pepper
¼ Tsp salt
1 Tsp minced garlic - 1 clove
2 Tbsp lemon juice
½ Tbsp lemon zest
Ginger Soy:
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ Tsp pepper
¼ Tsp salt
1 Tbsp lime juice
1 Tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
1 Tsp grated ginger
Lime and Coriander:
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ Tsp pepper
¼ Tsp salt
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1/2 Tbsp lime zest
1 Tbsp chopped coriander
Mexican Spice:
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 Tbsp lime juice
1/4 Tsp cumin
1/4 Tsp chilli powder
1/4 Tsp garlic powder
1/4 Tsp onion powder
Combine marinade and chicken in a ziplock bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
