BODi Recipes: Mix-and-Match Nourish Bowls

These DIY Nourish Bowls are a super simple way to throw together ingredients you may have in your fridge to create a delicious, healthy and quick meal!

 

Step one: Choose a Base

A few handfuls of greens, ie. spinach, kale or rocket

1 cup of cauliflower rice

1 cup of zoodles

1 cup of quinoa or brown rice

 

Step two: Choose a Protein

1 cup of chicken

1 can of tuna

1 cup of tofu

1-2 hard boiled eggs

1 cup of chickpeas 

 

Step three: Choose your add-ins

1 cup of roasted sweet potato, cauliflower, broccoli and/or zucchini

1/2 red onion

1/2 cup of black beans

1/4 cup of corn

A handful of olives

 

Fresh chopped veggies, ie. cucumber, capsicum, cabbage and/or tomatoes

 

Step four: Choose a topping

1/4 cup of feta

1/2 cup of shredded cheese

1/2 an avocado

Jalapeños

Chopped shallots

Sesame seeds

A handful of pine nuts or cashews

 

Step five: Choose a dressing

Hummus

Tzatziki

Olive oil & balsamic

Soy sauce

Tahini

Guacamole 

Tabasco
