We all know that eating our greens is important for our health. But did you know that only 7% of us (according to a 2017 study from the Heart Foundation) are consuming the recommended daily intake of vegetables.

Consuming green vegetables, especially the leafy green varieties has been reported to reduce the risk of various cancers including colon, prostate, breast, cervical, endometrial, gastric, lung, lymphoma, ovarian, pancreatic and thyroid as well as reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease, high blood cholesterol and blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, obesity, stroke, eye disease, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and osteoporosis, to name a few.
